Some one got some new pole shoes

Image
High heels at Surry Hills had a sale at Bobbis yesterday afternoon, usually I'm pretty good at resisting temptation but when I saw these babies how could I say no?
Since they were in my size and fit like a glove I took it as a sign that they had to be mine and now I don't want to take them off!!! I also justified the purchase because they were $30 off and I haven't bought any new pole shoes since February and I broke a pair last week and another pair that I have are almost dead to.
Merry Christmas to me!!

I love a good tummy hold!

I remember the first time I ever did a no handed Jamilla (cradle) and how much pain it caused. I swore I'd never do it again, 12 months later I decided to give it another go and surprisingly it didn't hurt and I've been in love with them ever since.

There aren't many girls at Bobbis that like the tummy grip so I usually just play around with stuff on my own, until now! I've finally found someone that loves them just as much (possibly even more) as me!! WOOHOO!!
This morning Jaxie and I decided to play around with a few things, I taught her a new move that was in my Miss Pole routine, that seems to be really popular at the moment. We also got it on video!! I don't know the name of the move so if you know what it's called let me know!
Then I worked on the no handed Jamilla into left leg horizontal split (jade split on the left). I had it last year but when I tried it again a couple of weeks ago I failed. Today I figured out what I was doing wrong and then nail…

Blood, Sweat and Sequins

Image
If you're in Australia you need to pick up your diary, calendar, iPhone whatever and put a reminder in there for the 24th January 2013! Because on this day the documentary Blood, Sweat and Sequins will be aired on SBS.

Blood, Sweat and Sequins follows Chelle Hafner, Cleo and Miss Filly as they prepare to compete for the title of Miss Pole Dance Australia 2012. The trailer looks amazing, giving you a glimpse into the lives and training schedules of some of Australia's best pole dancers.

Miss Pole Dance Australia 2013

The night of nights on the Aussie Pole dancing calendar has been and gone and OMG what a night it was!! Its been just over a week since the final, I would have posted this sooner but for some reason my lap top has been very uncooperative.
Nothing beats the atmosphere at the Enmore theatre on MPDA Finals night, you can practically see the excitement in the air (in my head it's all glitter), everyone in the audience is buzzing discussing who they can't wait to see perform and who they think will win. This year I actually went in with a list in my head of 7 or 8 of the finalists that I thought might take the title, I honestly couldn't pick one clear favourite. Even after all the girls had competed I still couldn't decide between about 5 of them. I really don't envy the judges it would have to be one of the hardest jobs in the world!

Bobbi didn't disappoint with the opening number, once again another spectacular start to the night, I think it's worth paying for …

Dear Santa,

It's coming up to that time of year again (how did that happen I swear it was August yesterday!) and it's time to start getting organised for Christmas! Most people I know have already started their Christmas shopping, I, on the other hand as usual am completely unorganised. Not only that, I have no idea what to get anyone! I have a list as long as my arm of things I want though!

I had a sneaky word with Santa toady and along with my super list of pieces from Black Milk that I want (If you don't know what black milk is you've been pretty much living under a rock! click HERE and enjoy all the nylon awesomeness! I and I know many other polers that have black milk addictions!) I've also asked for this:

Santa has assured me that it will be waiting under the tree for me!! WOOHOO!!! I can't wait to see what's inside it! I love the idea of a Pole Goal Diary!!

The diary has:

Diary Week to View Layout with Notes SectionA dedicated Goals Section to help you keep track …
